At 2,650 m, Gulmarg turns into a powder playground every winter — home to one of the world’s highest cable cars and some of Asia’s finest off-piste skiing. In summer it blushes with wildflowers.

Mornings on Dal Lake smell of lotus and wood smoke. Evenings are best spent over kahwa tea in a carved cedar houseboat. The Mughal gardens and old-city bazaars fill the hours in between.

The Lidder river rushes past pine forests so dense they block out the afternoon sun. Pahalgam is ideal for horse treks to Baisaran, fly-fishing, and quiet riverside camping.

Stories from couples, families, and solo travellers who trusted us with their trip.
"We’d been to Shimla and Manali before. Gulmarg felt completely different — quieter, more beautiful, and nothing felt rushed. Bilal, our driver, knew every good photo spot. The houseboat dinner was the best meal of the trip."
Mumbai, India
"Organising a ski trip for 14 people sounds like a nightmare. It wasn’t, because these guys handled every piece of it. SUVs were spotless, ski gear fitted well, and our guide kept even the beginners on the slopes."
Bangalore, India
"I booked alone and was slightly nervous. By day two I felt completely at home. The houseboat on Nigeen Lake was peaceful in a way that’s hard to describe. The pricing was transparent — I never once felt I was being overcharged."
St. Petersburg, Russia
"Our kids are 8 and 11 and the trip was perfect for them. The acclimatisation days were well-timed so nobody got altitude sickness. The monastery visits were explained in a way that kept even the kids genuinely interested."
Delhi, India
"We woke up at 5 am to watch the sunrise hit the water. The lake changed from grey to blue to green in about 20 minutes. We had both agreed beforehand not to take too many photos. We failed."
